This is exactly what I was looking for.
Someone who has taken Kallen under their wings and began to developed the code a bit more.

I too am interested in setting up a site very similar to yours.

Cory booth told me about this post and I am very enthousiastic!

I run a translated version of Kallen on my site, Dutch language, but it just is way too buggy. Managed to remove lots of bugs and added a jukebox with keltic music. But still it has an instable feel to it and lots of shops give an error.

So I realy like this one!

I would love to have a stable version in order to translate. I can get lots of players on the site so it would be a good test for the developer.

Just need a download link and maybe i can call it The sequel to Kallen!

Share what exactly? My map?

I used the map editor that comes with Phaos and took a LOT of work and some minor code changes

I have a top players list on my game, but the problem is, it works fine until people starting getting to level ten and then the game sees it as one. So, a level 7 outranks a level 10 through 69. Do you or did you have that same problem? If not how did you fix it?

Its not the map layout that i am after
Its the 3 dimentional veiw that i am after.

World of Kallen is the same as yours
I downloaded the world of Kallen
But on the install i had probs
Imported the structure SQL file ok
When i went to import the Data SQL it could not verifiy the charactures
Very strange !
Could you upload the files that you are useing Please.

Do you want my travel.php, or my SQL files?

My Travel.php is edited a lot for my own purposes (the levels coordinating directly to what they actually are)
and my SQL spreadsheet has my custom map / columns to keep monsters in certain areas of the map.

If you want I can take a look at your server and see if I can find the issue for you.

I had the original WOP working fine
Imported all the SQL files ok

On the Kallen version it wont work

This is what i get !!

You probably already have a phaos_abilities in your database, and it doesn't match the ones Kallen is trying to import data for, so it's erroring, it's nothing to do with the travel map, or any of the locations sql

Look at your Phaos_Abilities in your db and make sure its syntax is the same as Kallen's

Import the structure file ok

If you could send me your travel.php
& your sql files would be great.

Love the look of your game.

Server works fine
the problem is in the data sqlfile on the kallen release
found a post here that states the same problem.


I would like mine the same as yours
but i will have my own main page.
Will also put a link to your game on my site
fot being so kind :wink:

Might be easier to send the whole package
& i will edit the main page .

So what are the odds of you sharing how you fixed the level problem with the monsters. Right now that is driving me and my players crazy.

Also, I like the easy to use layout of your game. Very cool.
