I will still be working tightly with the phaos community, but I am ceasing development on Koitola v2 once I have sold it, I have been unemployed for 5 months now and so I have used that time to work out all the bugs I could locate in Koitola, I will never say it is 100% bug free, but this is a great chance to make money if you want to, having less than 600 users I have made on average 200-300$ a month just letting it run and not really doing anything else. This amount is based on Ads/Super Rewards offers, so the app has potential, and for someone who is willing to invest a little time/money they could easily get 30-40k users and make a decent living running this app on facebook.
Again, the biggest differences you see between my copy of phaos and the average copy is it runs through facebook, it is monetized beyond that of donations, it has 5 character capability with accounts, cards, ect... to allow players to use the account the way they want to.
Players now have a choice of 3 default races, if they want to play any of the other races they must either find the race card, or purchase a random card and hope to get the race card. there is a little over 965 items from weapons, armor, helms, rings, necklaces, ect... magic items are functioning, there is currently no need for an explore page anymore, anything that could be discovered using the explore page is all displayed to the user directly using the interface without having to change pages, it is much easier for new users to figure out what type of items there are on the ground, find out what messages they have, and to turn on/off the RPG assistant.
There is now 2 types of characters, you have a lifetime character, and a contest character, lifetime means that the character has no chance of winning any of the games prizes for any contest, but your character will be around all the time. Where-as you can also make a contest character, if you have purchased one of the 2 additional character slots, and you are eligible to win the contest prizes, including cash, and Royal Crowns (our monetization method)
10 Royal Crowns = 1$ (US)
So because of that you have a nice way to earn different sources of income.
Also, as a way of providing every player a chance to see the rewards of royal crowns, you receive 1 free royal crown every 24 hours (that is changeable by game admin) to still allow you access to use services only royal crowns could provide in the past, and once someone gets a chance to buy a card, and if they are lucky and get that 1000xp card, or 4000gp card, they will be more interested at that point to purchase royal crowns to get the immediate chance of purchasing more cards, rather than just sit around and wait 20-30 days to purchase a card.
We have changed the inventory method into more of a block inventory, to allow players to see every item a little faster and easier. With the inventory you also have the ability if you're in a guild/clan/brotherhood you can place items into a guild vault so that you can trade items within your guild to any players that may need it.
PvP Bounty Opportunities, Players can now place bounties on the heads of other players, paying either Gold, or Royal Crowns, it costs 1 Royal Crown to place a bounty on someones head and once that player has been killed by another player in PvP combat the player that killed the one with a bounty on their head, receives the Bounty amount.
Shops are now listed on the travel page using icons on the side, so again no need to switch to an explore page to check on the stores, they are all listed on the travel page and you can easily just click the store of choice and it pops up within a new sub-window. With this combat is also taken care of 100% through encounter pages, so you have the option of fleeing from every fight before the monster sees you, if you do not flee, the combat page is brought up full screen to allow you to see the entire fight without needing to scroll to see your spells, ect...
